BRAKE PAD PIN KIT

Many thanks Brian and everyone for all your help. I finally got the bearing carrier out and it was the pin as you thought Brian, somehow it had worked its way loose. The whole area does seem original and nothing had moved so I tapped the pin back in and filled the space with solder and used a centre punch to crimp the end over that I reckon it should work ok. The parts I ordered arrived today which once again is amassing. You all rock over there. I ordered a Clymers manual with the order, you informed me Brian that it was out of stock and you had them on a back order. Could you send me one when you get them in. Hello just a quick note to say thank you for the prompt service with the kit of pins for the floating front discs on my bike. I ordered them on the internet on Friday afternoon about 3pm **** time, and they arrived yesterday afternoon. Last night I fitted them to the one disc, It was a bit fiddly at first until I found the right tools to do the job, and the other one will get done later on today in probably less than half the time of the first one. After this experience I will be recommending you to my BMW riding mates whenever they are displeased with the performance of their local BMW dealer, which can be quite frequently.
